The rain inhibited progress for a period, but the plumbing was eventually roughed in, and the concrete was poured. After setting for a number of weeks because of even more inclement weather, the foundation was stable enough to begin framing.
Sheathing, roof decking, roof shingles, and vapor barrier all followed, and now the spec house is beginning to resemble the construction document elevations. The roof pitched was altered because the general contractor/client preferred a shallow pitch for ease of decking/shingle installation, and lower cost.
